Dr Eve Gadzikwa – (Chairperson)

Dr Gadzikwa has a long professional working career which spans over twenty years and cuts across many sectors and disciplines including business, standards, corporate governance and pathology. Multiple award winner, Eve is a champion for business excellence and contributed to the crafting of the National Code on Corporate Governance for Zimbabwe (ZIMCODE) which was launched in April 2015 by President RG Mugabe. Author of ” I Dare You to Lead” published in 2015, Eve has a passion for investing in leadership and talent development. She is mentoring Young Executives and University Students to assist them to reach their full potential guided by principles of excellence. She holds the following important positions in society including;

Mrs Laura Gwatiringa

Mrs Gwatiringa is so passionate about youth development and mentorship. She has worked in various organisations in different capacities at senior management and executive level including University of Zimbabwe where she was Senior Library Assistant ,  Standard Chartered Bank as Management Development Manager,  FBC Bank as Training Manager,- Trust Banking Corporation as Head of Group Service Quality and Training among others.
She is currently the Group Executive in charge of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at CBZ Holdings.Mrs Gwatiringa is also a Council Member for Women’s University in Africa past board member of  Air Zimbabwe , Mentor at Boost Fellowship, Judge at SIFE World Competition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2011) among others. She is a holder of MBA from Nottingham Trent Business School, BA General from University of Zimbabwe, Post Graduate Diploma in Library and Information Science from Manchester Polytechnic (UK).

 

Dr Munyaradzi Madambi

A holder of a Doctor of Philosophy degree majoring in Business Ethics and Corporate Governance, Dr. Munyaradzi Madambi is a dynamic academic with an insatiable passion for youth empowerment. An ethicist by training, Dr. Madambi graduated with an Honours degree in Philosophy from the University of Zimbabwe in 1993. An MA degree in Philosophy followed in 1994, after which he graduated with a Postgraduate Diploma in Tertiary Education at the University of Potchefstroom, RSA. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Leadership Development from Celebration College, and a Diploma in Journalism and Communication from CCOSA.

Dr. Madambi joined the University of Zimbabwe in 1997 as an Applied Ethics lecturer, with special teaching and research interests in Business Ethics, Environmental Ethics, Medical Ethics and Philosophy of Education. In 2008, Dr. Madambi was appointed Dean of Students, a post he has held until now. Years of university teaching and administration have seen Dr Madambi gleaning best practices and experience from top universities in Canada, USA, Belgium, UK, Mexico, China and across the African continent. As Dean of Students, Dr. Madambi is credited for introducing a student development and support ethos which has led to peace and tranquility on campus. He is the author of the UZ Student Charter, UZ Graduate Attributes, UZ Student Advisory System, among several journal articles and book chapters. Dr. Madambi is a member of the Business Ethics Network in Africa, Philosophy Society of Zimbabwe, CZI Ethics Committee, and Chairman of the Celebration International School. He is also a bi-vocational under Celebration Ministries International.

Mr Lovemore Nyatsine

Lovemore is a Business Executive with over 15 years of work experience across Africa working in various sectors: from Start-ups, Consulting and NGOs to Telecoms, Mining & Oil. He holds an MBA and is currently studying towards a PhD in Transformational Leadership. He is passionate about technology which he sees as an accelerator and enabler in bringing transformation in Africa. A consummate social entrepreneur, he is enthusiastic about solving problems creatively, building innovative solutions which bring a social impact. Having been COO and CEO of Higher Life Foundation he witnessed at a close range the devastating effects of the scourge of orphans and the attendant twin problems of poverty and unemployment in Africa. He has over 10 years’ experience in Human Capital,  Leadership Development, Personal Transformation, People Optimisation, Organisation Development and Strategy.  He has worked in Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Kenya, Lesotho, Burundi and South Africa where he is currently based. Lovemore sits in other various boards as chairperson and board member.

Tsitsi Tsvakwi Kanonge

Tsitsi Tsvakwi Kanonge, is the Director of Information and Public Affairs at Africa University. She is 29 years old. She is the youngest director at Africa University and one of the youngest female directors in Zimbabwe. She is a seasoned Public Relations Practitioner.

Amongst her qualifications is a BA Honours in English and Communication Degree from Midlands State University, a Master of Arts in Leadership and Management Degree from the University of Zimbabwe as well as a Diploma in Public Relations from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In 2015 she was awarded Megafest Female Director of the Year.

Daisy Odunze

Daisy is an agricultural economist with a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Sustainable Agriculture. Daisy is a devoted lecturer with the National
University of Science and Technology Zimbabwe, specializing in Agribusiness marketing. Daisy loves working with youths in respect to creation of small/medium scale agro-based enterprises. Daisy aims to bring a positive change in the way African youths view agriculture through the creation of a platform that encourages young people to not only go into farming but to do so in a sustainable manner. Daisy is a PhD student and an international researcher with an aim of facilitating agricultural marketing information exchanges between African. Daisy’s aspiration is to be a known voice on agribusiness and entrepreneurship issues in Africa.

Rinos Mautsa

Rinos is the Executive Chairman of Africcs Pvt Ltd the first call centre company in Zimbabwe with clients in Malawi,Zambia and Mauritius. Rinos is the Chairperson at Proctor and Associates; Executive Sec of the Contact Centre Association of Zimbabwe, Director at Energy Plus International, founder of AgriConnect (a national agriculture support call centre), Board member of Zambian Institute of Customer Management, Harare Hub Global Shaper at World Economic Forum, Chairperson of Zimbabwe Youth Housing Cooperative Association, and Deputy Chairperson of Zimbabwe YouthChamber of Commerce and industry. He is a holder of B Com (Honours) Marketing Management Degree (MSU), Graduate Diploma in Customer Service Management, Diploma in Digital media and branding (chartered institute of marketing-UK),fellow Chartered Manager (CIM UK), and Masters in Business Administration (MSU). Rinos is currently a (PHD) candidate.

Trish Hakata

Trish Hakata is a young lady of 23 who is very innovative and ambitious. She is passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and inspiring anyone she comes across. She holds a BSc Hons. Degree in Political Science from the University of Zimbabwe and Certificates in Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Personal Effectiveness from the same Institution. Whilst at college she co-founded Campus Culture Organisation with 5 other students and was the chairperson for 2013-2014 and was an Events coordinator for Hotels and Leisure Africa (HALA) Events. The motivation behind these ventures was to empower herself and other students who she partnered with. In 2015 she was a finalist for Black Opal Face of Zimbabwe. Since finishing school she has worked for Marketrite Advertising as a marketing officer and Sensationnel Zimbabwe as a marketer and salesperson. She is a founding member and the Project Director for Campus Community Foundation as well as the face of the foundation. Trish own a mobile kitchen and is the Vice President Education of Metropolitan Toastmasters Club.
